Supporting Learners with Additional Needs and Gifts
Special Schools
Our Special Needs Schools provide a supportive and nurturing environment tailored for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) or those undergoing an EHC Needs Assessment. We are dedicated to meeting each student’s unique needs through specialised teaching strategies, personalised learning plans, and integrated therapeutic support, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Maths, English and Science
Our personalised curriculum is carefully crafted to meet each learner's individual strengths, needs, and learning pace, with a strong focus on core subjects like Maths, English, and Science.
By tailoring lessons to the unique goals outlined in each student’s EHCP, we ensure they gain essential skills and understanding in these critical areas, building a solid foundation for future learning.
Students at our centre have the opportunity to work toward GCSEs or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications, with the pathway determined by CATS testing and an assessment of any missed learning.
This approach ensures each student follows the most suitable course for their abilities and circumstances, providing them with the best chance to achieve recognised qualifications that support their future goals.
Mentoring & Therapeutic Support
Our 1-2-1 support in lessons and around school is dedicated to fostering both academic growth and character development, ensuring each student reaches their full potential. In academic subjects, this individualised support helps students overcome specific challenges, build confidence, and achieve excellence by tailoring instruction to their unique learning style and pace.
Beyond academics, we provide guidance in developing positive behaviours, resilience, and social skills, reinforcing the values of respect, responsibility, and perseverance throughout the school day. This holistic approach ensures that students not only excel in their studies but also grow into well-rounded individuals prepared for future success.

Preparation for Adulthood
Our FIIT Learning approach integrates project-based learning to make education both meaningful and engaging for students. Project-based learning allows students to dive deeply into topics that interest them, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
This hands-on approach not only reinforces subject knowledge but also builds essential life skills, as students learn to apply what they’ve studied in ways that are practical, innovative, and relevant to their futures.
Our curriculum encompass lessons that include - essential life skills, career exploration, and PSHE, equipping students with the knowledge and personal development tools they need to thrive academically, socially, and in their future careers.
Our highly trained staff work closely with families, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to create a comprehensive support system that addresses each student's specific goals and challenges. By fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere, we empower our learners to make meaningful progress and build the skills needed to thrive both in school and beyond.
