Our first alternative provision in Croydon, in partnership with Students Achieve Tuition centre is launching on 1st May 2025, designed to help students achieve their Functional Skills Level 1 or 2 in English and Maths by the end of the academic year.
Our programme provides personalised learning support through a structured approach that blends AI-driven tuition, targeted interventions, and practical application to ensure students develop the skills they need to succeed.
Part-Time
Small Group Tuition
We are offering small-group learning opportunities for students who:
✔ Need a focused and structured pathway to achieve Functional Skills Level 1 or 2 in English and Maths or GCSEs?
✔ Small classes of no more than 5 students.
✔ Benefit from a mix of online, tutor-led, and practical learning activities tailored to their individual learning needs.
✔ Require additional support and intervention to close gaps in their knowledge and build confidence in core subjects.
✔ Want to develop essential study skills, exam techniques, and real-world applications of English and Maths.
✔ Receive weekly mentoring and progress tracking to ensure they stay on track for success.
Diagnostic Testing
Diagnostic testing is a cornerstone of our approach to effective tutoring, allowing us to tailor each student's learning journey from the outset. Through these assessments, we identify specific strengths and areas for development, giving us a clear snapshot of the student’s current knowledge, skills, and understanding.
Diagnostic tests go beyond surface-level testing; they uncover underlying misconceptions or gaps in foundational skills that may impact the student’s progress. With this detailed insight, we design a personalised learning plan that targets each student’s unique needs, ensuring that every session focuses on closing knowledge gaps and building a strong foundation for accelerated learning.
1-2-1 Support
Our 1-2-1 sessions are designed to pinpoint areas where a student may struggle or need more depth, whether it’s mastering key mathematical concepts, improving problem-solving skills, enhancing literacy and comprehension, or boosting their overall confidence in English.
With dedicated attention, our tutors can quickly identify gaps in knowledge or misunderstandings that might be holding a student back, ensuring that learning is targeted and impactful.
Moreover, in 1-2-1 sessions, tutors employ various techniques, from hands-on problem-solving in Maths to creative and analytical exercises in English. This bespoke support not only accelerates their learning but also enhances their confidence, equipping them with effective strategies they can apply in other subjects and future educational pursuits.

Arranging a part-time placement for a learner is a streamlined process designed to minimise disruption and prevent any lost learning. Once a referral is received, we quickly assess the learner’s needs and work with you to create a tailored programme of support.
Our team is equipped to arrange placements swiftly, often within days, ensuring the student has immediate access to the personalised academic and pastoral support they need. This rapid turnaround helps maintain continuity in their education, providing stability and structure as they transition to a more supportive learning environment.
